Programme for the Workshop “Shared Micromobility – Who’s Taking Charge?”
How is urban mobility being transformed by bike-sharing, e-scooters, and app-based mobility services? And who shapes the conditions under which shared micromobility operates in cities?
The workshop “Shared Micromobility – Who’s Taking Charge?” will address these questions on 17 and 18 September 2026 in Cologne. The event is organized by project A03 “Navigation in Online/Offline Spaces”.
The programme for the two-day workshop is now available online.
The workshop focuses on the infrastructures, technologies, data flows, and actors that enable shared micromobility. It also explores how different people experience these mobility services and which perspectives, needs, and interests are made visible or remain overlooked.
The observations and discussions emerging from the workshop will be documented collaboratively with artists and designers and will contribute to a publicly accessible report on the “Seams” of shared mobility in Cologne and its points of connection, friction, disruption, and transition.
