Md Akib Shahriar Khan is a Doctoral Researcher in the Interactive Autonomous Systems group at the Universität Siegen.He studied M.Sc. in Human-Computer Interaction from Universität Siegen and a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

His professional journey includes roles as a Software Engineer at AkknaTek GmbH, a Junior Researcher at AWS Institute for Digitized Products and Processes. He has authored several publications, including works on human action recognition and pedestrian action detection.

Research area is centred around designing user experiences and interactions with autonomous systems which involve interactions among vehicles and vulnerable road users at Road Traffic Climate.
