Moritz Werle studied ethnology and sociology at master's level and sociology and gender studies at bachelor's level as a minor subject at the University of Konstanz. Alongside his studies, he worked as a research assistant on the DFG project “Medialized Communication under Pressure: Command Cultures, Epidemic Practices, and Distributed Decision-Making in Technologically Mediated War Communication” and outside the university in the field of public relations and citizen participation.
