Anne Weibert ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Neue Medien der Universität Siegen. Ihr Forschungsinteresse gilt der computergestützten kollaborativen Projektarbeit und innewohnenden Prozessen der Technologieaneignung, des interkulturellen Lernens und des Community-Buildings. Sie hat partizipative Designprojekte mit Kindern und Erwachsenen in sozial und kulturell diversen Settings durchgeführt. Sie wurde 2007 mit dem "Förderpreis des Augsburger Wissenschaftspreises für Interkulturelle Studien" und 2020 mit dem "Rolf H. Brunswig-Promotionspreis" ausgezeichnet.
