Anne Weibert is a research associate at the Institute for Information Systems and New Media at the University of Siegen. Her research interests include computer-based collaborative project work and inherent processes of technology appropriation, intercultural learning, and community building. She has worked on participatory design projects with children and adults in socially and culturally diverse settings. She was awarded the „Förderpreis des Augsburger Wissenschaftspreises für Interkulturelle Studien“ in 2007 and the „Rolf H. Brunswig-Promotionspreis“ in 2020.
