The module “Integrated Research Training Group” (MGK) systematically integrates interdisciplinary doctoral training within the CRC and provides opportunities for international networking. The MGK addresses the challenges of interdisciplinary PhDs and career development and provides the methodological foundations for advancing media praxeology with a focus on ethnomethodological, linguistic, digital and mixed methods. It advances the theoretical foundations of media praxeology and brings together method training and innovation in the Media Practice Theory Lab, Mixing Methods Summer Schools, masterclasses and data labs. The MGK comprises of a doctoral training programme, international stipends and additional university-funded doctoral positions. In this way it expands the thematic spectrum of digital practices studied at the CRC.
