Magdalena Götz was scientific coordinator of the CRC «Media of Cooperation» (winter term 21/22).
She has been a PhD researcher at the postgraduate program «Locating Media» at the University of Siegen between 2017 and 2021.
Her research focuses on the interrelations between queer and feminist (media) art, digital mobile media, affects and infrastructures.
She studied Literature, Art and Media Studies as well as British and American Studies at the University of Konstanz and Curatorial Studies with focus on Art and Media Studies at the University of Oldenburg.
As a curator, art mediator, editor, and project manager she worked, among others, for Ars Electronica, Art Museum Celle, and Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art.
