I work in the field of digital media and network history. Within Media of Cooperation my research is dedicated to a media history of the credit card. Together with Thomas Haigh, I organize the "Early Digital" and "Becoming Digital" event series. Along with Joerg Potthast, I am hosting the Lecture and Workshop Series on Practice Theory that aims for new connections between media and social theory. We specifically focus on practices 'inbetween' infrastructures and publics. I co-edit the book series Locating Media | Situated Media together with Gabriele Schabacher, Jens Schröter, Erhard Schüttpelz and Tristan Thielmann.
